Hi!

I am trying to locate the military record of Clement Pierre ANGE

date of birth:January 30 1892 - Carquebut, 50523, Manche, Normandy, France
death:Novembre 19 1973 Meulan-en-Yvelines, , 78401, Yvelines, Île-de-France, France.

He left France for the USA - New YORK in 1919 under the name: Clemens ANGE
He was old enough to do WW1 - where was he during the war? I can't locate any military documents.

His father: ANGE Jules Amand Clement - (Carquebut)
His mother:HAUTEMANIERE Pauline Virginie (Saint-Marcouf-de-l'Isle)

I must be missing something somewhere.

Thank you very much for your time,
Sebastien

Born in 1892, Clément would have been called for military service in 1912 at his place of residence at that date. And, unless disabled or otherwise excused, he probably served during the war.

If he was still living in Carquebut, his records would be on the site below, class of 1912. Note that each film contains multiple registers, so you cannot simply jump to the alphabetical index at the end. I only glanced quickly.
