I am looking for a translation of the margin note for record #515 (see the attachment - unable to create a link) in hopes that it will give me a better understanding of this lady and her parent(s). (Eugenia Verbeeldt/Standaert)

In short it's the judgement of the court of first instance of the county Bruges that says the surname of Eugenia is wrongly written in her death certificate of 1852.
It says (underlined) : "In the death certificate of 30/04/1852 of Eugenia Standaert, her surname is miswritten as Eugenia Verbeeldt, (cleaning lady/daily help)age 42, born in Knesselaere, living in Bruges, daughter of Augustinus en Monica Standaert and the wife of Franciscus DeVlieghe/re. This has to be Eugenia Standaert, (cleaning lady/daily help), born in Knesselaere, 24/10/1808, daughter of Monica Standaert and the wife of Franciscus Amandus Devlieghere".
Noone is allowed to use or copy this certificate without mentioning this rectification.
Bruges, 24/07/1860
The judgement of 20/06/1860 itself has been added in the register of death certificates of 1860, 23/07/1860.

Eugenia is born 'natural child' of Monica 1 month before the wedding. I don't see any legalization or recognition of the child by the groom Verbeelen.
Marriage certificate of Eugenia Standaert (spinner) and Franciscus Amandus Devlieghere (farmer), married in Oedelem, 24/01/1842.
In the certificate there is mention of the birth of the child Virginie Standaert, born 17/09/1839 in Oedelem. The bride and groom both acknowledge this child as their daughter.

There is no exposure to the language out here on the west coast of Canada. I have faint recollections of my grandfather speaking an occasional word or 2 of Flemish when I was a child, but nothing beyond that. Over the years I have learned to read and understand most of the documents in the civil registers, but from time to time need some "expert" eyes to lend a hand.
